Watertight is excited and pleased to announce our most recent roofing project collaboration with Juneau Construction Company for Star Metals Residences! This luxury apartment complex is located in the up-and-coming area of West Midtown, Atlanta, and is scheduled to open sometime during summer 2020. Designed by Oppenheim Architecture and Dwell Design Studio, with interior designs by Square Feet Studio—is set to bring 409 luxury apartments and 16,300 square feet of retail. Plus a private outdoor dog run, Uber drop-off for residents, and a cozy library. Unlike other cookie-cutter apartments, Star Metals Residences offers unique and thoughtful layouts, modern finishes, and extravagant amenities.
Although actively living in luxury is important, so is how you choose to relax. That’s why Star Metals Residences additionally offers a wide variety of incredible community amenities. If you’re often on the go, there is bicycle storage and a 24/7 open cafe lobby. There is also a dog run and dog spa for your furry friend. How does Watertight fit into the process of this new and incredible apartment complex? Watertight was chosen by Juneau Construction to install a new 60 mil carlisle TPO roof system. This system was installed over fully tapered ISO insulation. Watertight’s sheet metal department also installed all prefinished metal coping, scuppers, and counter-flashings.
